WILSON STEVENSON
President & Chief Financial Officer
Wilson joined BNL Tech in 2008 following his term of active duty in the United States Marine Corps, where he served as a Reconnaissance Marine and Chinese/Spanish Cryptologic Linguist in support of the Global War on Terrorism. He is an alumnus of the University of Washington where he graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in International Studies and a Certificate in Accounting. Wilson focuses on ensuring that BNL Technical Services provides its clients with the highest quality service at highly competitive prices.
BILL WOODY
Chief Executive Officer
Bill co-founded BNL Technical Services, LLC in 1999. Utilizing his extensive industry contacts, he has recruited top engineering, technical, and professional candidates from around the country. Bill has worked in the energy sector since 1976. He has extensive experience at nuclear powered, gas-fired, and coal-fired facilities. During his more than 30 years of experience, Bill has served as an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer, Startup/Field Engineer, Procedure Writer, and Work Package Planner/Scheduler. His continued focus on the needs of the client has allowed BNL Tech to earn a reputation as a reliable source of top notch talent.
JEFF SPIESMAN
Vice President of Operations
Jeff has been with BNL Tech since 2002. He possesses an engineering and business administration background with 30 years of professional experience. Jeff attended Michigan State University where he majored in Electrical Engineering and received a B.S.E.E. degree. He completed his graduate studies at Lake Erie College, where he earned his MBA. In addition to being a licensed professional engineer, Jeff is an experienced Safety Analyst, Instrumentation and Controls Engineer, and Startup Test Engineer. Prior to joining BNL Tech, he worked on projects with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Battelle-Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, Westinghouse, General Electric, Savannah River Company, and EG&G Rocky Flats, Inc. Upon arriving at BNL Tech, He was instrumental in obtaining BNL’s first General Services Administration (GSA)/Federal Supply Schedule contract for worldwide Professional Engineering Services. Jeff oversees supplier registration, technical recruitment, development of the company’s technical proposals, and administration of contracts.
STEPHEN RUSH
Vice President of Development
Stephen joined BNL Tech in 2009 following his tenure as the Director of Operations for a San Francisco-based software development company. His willingness to learn, outgoing personality, hard work ethic, and ability to think outside the box, earned him praise from both his superiors and peers. Stephen is a graduate of the University of Tennessee where he earned a B.S. in Finance and a B.S. in Psychology. He is currently leading BNL Tech's Renewable Energy Services Division.
TIM LEE
Senior Project Manager
Tim joined BNL Technical Services, LLC in 2011 after 30 years experience in managing high profile technical projects all over the world for the DOE, DOD, and commercial clients. Prior to joining BNL Tech, he managed the development of CERCLA planning documents at Oak Ridge, groundwater remediation and tank closure at Hanford, D&D waste characterization projects at Hanford, hazard/safety evaluations in Japan/Guam/Hawaii, and numerous closure projects. He is a graduate of Tennessee Technological University where he earned a B.S. in Geology. In addition to his geologist/hydrogeologist registrations, he is a project management professional. Upon arriving at BNL Tech, he was instrumental in obtaining BNL Tech’s first contract at the Savannah River Site. He is currently leading BNL Tech’s effort to develop business in the southeast region.
SHANE ABERNATHY
Project Manager
Shane was born and raised in Union City, TN. He attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville where he completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a minor in Business Administration. After several years of working as a Project Manager for a Knoxville developer, Blue Ridge Development, Shane joined the BNLTech team in 2010. Prior to his employment with BNL Technical Services, LLC, he has always had a strong interest in the available renewable energy, environmental programs and overall sustainability. As Project Manager with BNL, Shane has been the primary point of contact for the company’s East Tennessee development. He has successfully secured and maintained projects with the Tennessee Solar Institute and for several Knoxville area developers.
